Salvia have spiky flowers borne on bushy plants.  Salvia make nice bouquets fresh or dried.  Salvia are not hardy. 

Position - Full sun in good quality and well drained soil.

Spacing - 20cm

Disease and pests -

Insects and disease are not too common in salvias.  If problems do occur treat with the appropriate fungicide or insecticide.

Care -

Once salvias are established they should grow fairly easily with few problems.  Keep soil moist to slightly dry and keep weeds out.  Add mulch and feed monthly with 2.3.2.
