How long before I receive my order?
The day of the week we dispatch your order depends on your location. It will be sent on the day with the quickest travel time to reach you. Generally, orders take 2-4 days.

How do I receive my order?
You will receive your seedlings in a box. The seedlings are extracted from a tray and packed in boxes with a plastic liner. The seedlings are tightly packed to prevent damage during transit. Please plant your seedlings within 24 hours, preferably sooner, for the best results.

What if I want a different variety of vegetables?
We can grow any commercially available variety from seed in South Africa. There is typically a minimum requirement of 1000 seeds per variety, and it will take 6 weeks from the time of ordering before we can ship your order.

How big/old are the seedlings?
Typically, vegetable seedlings are 6 weeks old when ready for planting in the soil. Our Hybrid box seedlings are older, around 10 weeks old, as they are grown in larger containers. Generally, younger/smaller seedlings establish better in the soil, providing better results. Bigger seedlings planted from larger pots/bags do not perform as well.

What do I need to do after planting?
From the beginning, ensure your seedlings are well-watered but not overwatered. Apply fertilizer every 10 days or so, using either organic or chemical options. A general all-round balanced fertilizer is a good choice. Regularly inspect your vegetables for signs of pests and diseases, taking measures to address any issues as soon as possible.
